Very good service, had very relaxing experience.
The position of the hotel was comfortable, easy to catch the fast arriving taxi. I was here for 1 night and ate at attached restaurant for Breakfast. Extras like iron and ironing board, a coffee/tea maker, and a work desk were appreciated...

Our stay at the Ascot Motor Inn was truly enjoyable, with every detail exceeding our expectations. the deluxe queen room was surprisingly spacious and quiet, featuring two comfortable queen beds. the staff were not only courteous but also quick to assist, providing us with great local tips. the location was a big plus, conveniently situated near restaurants and Wahroonga, a charming suburb of Sydney. We also had a lovely dining experience at the attached restaurant, which offered reasonable prices.

The first room we were put in had bedbugs, which when squashed were full of blood. We were placed into a second room which was fine. A little worrying to say the least!

I had a place to crash after a long day chasing the waves. the bed? Comfy enough to make me consider a career in napping. Showers were decent; felt like I was trapped in a phone booth fight with a rusty fitting. the location was spot on for hop, skip, and jump onto the road and bus. Just don't expect much from the guy at the desk—he was as welcoming as a kangaroo at a barbecue. All in all, it worked for my family trip.

Beds were comfortable
staff was extremely rude, smiled to everything no matter whether I complained or asked for surrounding map location (no assistance to this at all, instead staff didn't know anything about the area). Had to use shower head to fill up water kettle (where the lid was broken and it took me quite a while to put it back on) due to the basin being too shallow - no sink in the room. Saucers and spoons were dirty and sticky, no hand towels provided and when I asked the receptionist about this, he, again smiled as this was something funny to ask. Toasters are also not provided and when you need one, you have to pick it up from the reception yourself, nobody will bring anything to the room. Upon our arrival at our room, I realised that the windows are closed and cannot be opened, venetian blinds between two glasses could not be opened or shut (well, one did not respond to the dial), therefore the room was very dark, but this is probably on purpose so you cannot see the thick dust between cupboard and non-working fridge. Again, I went to the reception and asked how I could open the windows since the room needed some fresh air whereas the receptionist stated "if you want fresh air, you can leave entry door open during night" - as if anyone would do something like that! When we left and returned the room keys to the receptionist (this time another family member was at the reception), I told the man that he can pick up the toaster and TV remote control (which they hand over to the guest on arrival) as I would not do their job. Further I told him how unhappy I was and never had to deal with such dirty room and rude staff, but he replied (with this proviking smile on his face, just like the other receptionist) "thank you for the compliment". I warned him that his behaviour is certainly not good for his business, especially as customers leave their feedback on a recommended website, just as I would do - "thank you, thank you very much" was the only response...

The room was air-conditioned and brand-new, featuring a nice shower and tea facilities. Upon arrival, we were pleased to find an electric kettle and refrigerator in the room. the location is fantastic, situated just off the shopping center and close to an Indian restaurant, along with convenient bus access to Hornsby.

Cheapest we could find near the event we were attending.
It is very dated, needs to be totally refurbished, very 70's decor!

It was conveniently close to our family. The curtains made the room dark for sleep. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed - it would be good to have an Eco policy of only changing towels when the guest indicates i.e. when towels at on the shower floor please change.
There was a lot of background noise from the parking area from the air con and open bathroom window. The right hand corner of our room on the window wall had a lot of cobwebs, it could do with hoovering. There was no remote for the tv.
